We believe the uniform has a positive effect on attitude and academic performance. Therefore, Saint Michael School students (K - 8) are to be dressed appropriately in school uniforms purchased from our official provider, Flynn and O’Hara Uniform Company (1-800-441-4122).


The requirements are as follows:

Girls - Grades K through 4
Tunic (all year)
White long or short sleeve blouse with Peter Pan collar. (all year)
Green turtleneck with SMS logo (optional November 1 through April 30)
Dark green cardigan sweater (optional)
Dark green knee socks or tights

Girls - Grades 5 through 8
Kilt (knee length) (all year)
Dark green, V - neck, pullover vest (November 1 through April 30)
White long or short sleeved shirt blouse with Oxford collar (all year)
Green turtleneck with SMS logo (optional November 1 through April 30)
Dark green cardigan sweater (optional)
Dark green knee socks or tights

Boys - Grades K through 8
Khaki pants. Dark green socks
Dark green, V - neck, pullover vest (November 1 through April 30)
White long or short sleeved shirt with plaid tie (all year)


Spring/Fall Option (September, October, May, June)
Dark green polo shirt with SMS logo
Khaki shorts

Physical Education Uniform
All students are required to wear the proper physical education uniform on gym days.
Dark green shorts and dark green tee shirt (September, October, May, June)
Dark green sweat pants, tee shirt, and sweat shirt (November 1 through April 30)

Out-of-uniform days are announced monthly and usually follow a theme.

Hair should always be neatly groomed. Make-up and nail polish is not permitted and jewelry is limited. Clarifications are listed in the school handbook.
